Manatee Chapter, Anna Maria, Florida
National Society Daughters of the American Revolution
Our meetings are held in Bradenton on the 2nd Friday of each month, October through May.
We are honored that you are interested in the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR), and in the Manatee Chapter in particular. Manatee Chapter Daughters actively seek new members and opportunities to promote DAR objectives in our community.
Who is today's DAR?
We are a diverse group of women that share common interests with our focus primarily on preserving American history, promoting patriotism and better education for our youth. In addition to monthly programs, the Manatee Chapter offers genealogy workshops, open to anyone interested in tracing their family lineage.
Any woman is eligible for membership who is no less than eighteen years of age and can prove lineal, blood line descent from an ancestor who aided in achieving American independence.
